SCORM 1.2 is an industry recognised standard that allows eLearning modules to be used in any SCORM 1.2 compliant Learning Management System (LMS). Each module is provided as compressed (.zip) file. When you upload this file to a SCORM 1.2 compliant LMS it can then display that module to users and report on data, like who has completed that module and how long it took to complete.

Western Victoria PHN commissioned the development of this training on behalf of a consortia of participating PHNs from across Australia, in consultation with the PHN Telehealth Training Project working group and the PHN Telehealth Training Project Advisory Committee.

PHNs are funded by the Australian Government to plan and commission a range of primary health services to meet the needs of their population. Their key objectives are to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of medical services to patients, particularly those at risk of poor health outcomes, and improving coordination of care to ensure patients receive the right care in the right place at the right time.

As part of these key objectives, this consortium of PHNs has made this training freely available to all Commonwealth funded residential aged care homes and remote clinical providers consulting residents, Australia wide.

Participating PHNs include:

  • Coordinare – South Eastern NSW PHN
  • Darling Downs and West Moreton PHN
  • Eastern Melbourne PHN
